This past week has been pretty eventful. I had all my classes, ate food, watched tv, slept.  On Saturday I went to my aunts to babysit my cousin and Sunday my sister came up to my aunts so we could go see a movie.

And now on to the meaning of the title of my post.  I saw Avatar on Sunday!  I wasn’t sure if I would like it because sometimes when movies have so much hype they stink…but wow I LOVED IT!  I saw it in 3D with my aunt, uncle, cousin and sister.  And yesterday I spent all day turning myself into a Na’vi in Photoshop! And after I did one for myself I made one of Matt Lewis too:

So yea…not much has been going on with me as you can see.  Just the usual.  I started a monthly competition on Magical-Menagerie that you can go enter here.  Next both MM and LL are having competitions for “Biggest Fans”.  To enter go here: Emma and Evanna Fans … Matt Fans.  Also speaking of Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince was nominated for an Oscar for Best Cinematography!! But it is up against Avatar so I don’t know if it will win.

I haven’t taken photos of any outfits since the 26th except for today, because they were all boring   But today I wore my Marc Jacobs jacket, jeans, and new studded boots!  Click the thumbnail to see the piccy; I also posted it on my StyleCaster account!!

Oh! I guess I should do my Project Runway commentary…didn’t do it last week.  Anyways, here were my favorite outfits from this past week:

Yes my blog title is a quote from The Lion King Anyway, today was my first full day of classes for my last semester.  I had 3 today: Criminology and 2 Computer Science classes.  They shouldn’t be too horrible but it is definitely more work than I’ve had my past few semesters; reading, tests, other stupid school junk.  Tomorrow I have Web Publishing in the morning and then I’m done.

Move in on Sunday went pretty smoothly.  We have new locks on our bathroom that are a bit annoying; we have to slide our id cards and then put in a code and then the door will unlock…ew!  Yesterday it was POURING out so I got SOAKED when I went to lunch and to the school store.  Monday-Thursday I have to eat dinner at 6:30 which is death for me!  It’s rush hour at the cafeteria so my friend & I have to eat on the side we don’t like because its the least crowded.  So depressing.

Also on Sunday my mom and I did a bit of shopping, we went to Stew Leonards and Bobs Clothing Store.  At Bob’s I got a coin sorter (woo!) and a cute brown velour jacket (pictured on the left, click for the full view) and paid $2.18 for both!  Well actually, my mom was nice and paid for it for me, haha.  So I made out pretty darn good!  Now I am going to TRY not to buy anything for the rest of the semester, but I am betting that won’t last very long.  I already bid on something on ebay, haha.  But someone outbid me.

I am going to be donating to Haiti though through The Harry Potter Alliance.  I’m just waiting for them to put up something donated by Evanna Lynch.  Unless the donation to enter the drawing is too high.  What they do is there are prizes and when you donate a certain amount you are entered to win that item.  So far they have raised over $45,000!

Also speaking of Harry Potter, I’m starting to read the series again.  I have decided I am going to read the whole series at least twice a year.  Sort of like what Christopher Lee does with Lord of the Rings, but he only reads those once a year.

If This is It by Huey Lewis and the News has been stuck in my head for over a week, it randomly came into my head when I was shopping with my mom. Listen here. Anyways…on to the boring-ness that is me!

First, I’ll start with fashion!  On Monday I went shopping with my aunt, cousin and sister since my aunt had 30% off at Kohl’s.  I did pretty good and got 2 pairs of shoes for $25, saved $95 off the normal prices!!

In website related news; I have contests going on at Magical-Menagerie and Lewis Lovers. The contest is finding the biggest [insert actor here] and Potter fans to be interviewed for an online magazine.  Magical-Menagerie is for Emma and Evanna fans and Lewis Lovers is for Matt (duh).  So go enter!

Now on to movie related…I’ve watched a few new (for me) movies recently, I can’t remember them all but here area few:  Julie & Julia, Down with Love and Office Space.  I’m up to 720 movies, I want to break 1000 soon, so that means lots of movie watching…the problem is: I don’t want to buy movies I haven’t seen or rent them, not many good ones are on TV and I’m picky with movies XD Ha ha.  Any suggestions of movies I should see?! They can be from any year

I only have 3 full days left of freedom before I go back to school. EW!  At least I can see my friends and only have 3 days of classes a week.
