     American Indians planted what was known as the "Three Sisters": corn, beans and squash.

     A Number of other domesticated crops were popular including little barley, may-grass, and sunflower.

     In the Northwestern part of the United States Native Americans used salmon and other fish, seafood, mushrooms, and berries, among other foods.
